Volunteering
Give your time, change lives
Our volunteers’ roles

Lead talks in neighbourhoods, markets, associations and places of worship about breast self-examination and screening.
Welcome at screening days
Welcome women, guide and reassure them, and help screening days run smoothly.
Event organisation
Prepare the Pink Walk, round tables and conferences: logistics, set-up, supervision.
Communication and social media
Photos, videos, writing, sharing on WhatsApp and Facebook: help our prevention messages reach further.
Fundraising
Help raise donations and find partners, organise fundraisers for the cause.
Listening and support
For trained profiles (health, psychology, social work): support women and their loved ones through the care pathway.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need medical skills to volunteer?
No. Most roles (welcome, logistics, communication, awareness) are open to everyone. The prevention messages are presented when you join.
How much time do I need to give?
You decide: a few hours a month, one day at an event or a more regular commitment. Octobre Rose is when we need the most help.
Can men volunteer?
Yes, of course! Women’s cancers affect the whole family. Men are welcome to raise awareness, encourage their loved ones and help with organisation.
I live outside Lomé or abroad, can I help?
Yes: sharing on social media, fundraising, connecting us with partners… Tell us your city in the form and we will see together how you can help.
