Get involved

Together, let’s fight women’s cancers

Whether you have an hour, an idea, a network or a company, you can help more women get screened in time. Choose your way to act.

Six ways to get involved

Every action counts, from the simplest to the most committed.
  • Volunteer

Neighbourhood awareness, welcoming women at screening days, organising the Pink Walk: give your time.

  • Organise a fundraiser

A birthday, a savings group, a match, an office party: turn your event into a wave of solidarity.

  • Involve your company

Sponsorship, in-kind gifts, awareness for your staff: associate your brand with an essential cause.

  • Share your story

Survivor, loved one, carer or volunteer: your story could convince another woman to get screened.

  • Wear pink

In October, dress in pink, wear the ribbon and talk about screening with those around you.

Practical guide

Organise your own fundraiser

Want to rally the people around you? Here is how to organise a fundraiser for Togo en Rose, simply and transparently.

  1. Choose your occasion

A birthday, a wedding, a savings-group meeting, a sports tournament, a fabric sale or a pink day at the office.

  2. Let us know

Call or write to us before you start: we approve your project, provide awareness materials and can promote your initiative.

  3. Set a goal

A clear goal motivates people: for example 50,000 or 100,000 FCFA. Explain what the gifts will contribute to.

  4. Spread the word

Share it on WhatsApp and Facebook, after church or mosque, at the market… Invite everyone to give, even a small amount.

  5. Transfer the funds

Gifts are paid directly into GFVD-GL’s official accounts (bank transfer or Mobile Money), then declared using our form.

A few ideas that work

  • Ask for donations instead of birthday presents
  • Organise a walk or a sports session in pink
  • Sell pastries or crafts for the cause
  • Hold an “all in pink” day at your company or school
  • Dedicate one savings-group contribution to Togo en Rose

The golden rules

  • Only use the official accounts listed on our “Donate” page.
  • Never collect money in GFVD-GL’s name without our prior agreement.
  • Do not promise medical outcomes: talk about awareness, screening and support.
  • Thank your donors and share the results of your fundraiser with them.

Wear pink

Pink is a message

During the Grande Marche Rose (Pink Walk) on 21 October 2025, hundreds of women and men marched in pink through the streets of Lomé, followed by breast and cervical cancer screening.

Wearing pink opens the conversation: with your mother, your sister, your colleague. It is a reminder that timely screening can change everything.
